Never hire Rick Breedlove as an electrician. I asked for an invoice on how much everything would cost due to my sellers agreement that they’d pay for the electrical. He refused to give one and said everything is verbal and based on handshakes and there’s never any invoices or contracts before hand. He just came in when I wasn’t home. Told my boyfriend that we needed more work done when we didn’t. Made a hole in my living room wall and said I had to fix it. His guy fell through our ceiling in our garage because he stepped on drywall and screamed that if his man was hurt he’d sue me because it was somehow my fault. He screamed at the top of his lungs that if I ever tried to take him to court he’d spend all his money to make sure I pay more than what his “work” cost. He charged me $1200 just for outlets some I didn’t even ask for and $650 for an electric circuit box for my stove. I’m floored that a manager would scream at their customers and threaten to sue their customers for their own employees fault and for not giving me a contract or invoice when asked. He claimed he never knew I existed because he originally spoke to my boyfriend but later told my boyfriend he just forgot about me but he screamed at me that he didn’t know about me even though there are girls clothes and makeup in the house. He told me I should take care of my own business instead of my boyfriend but when I tried to contact him he wouldn’t answer me and only spoke to my boyfriend because he felt attacked by me... Rick is down right scum. Never EVER use Indy Volt electricians. They’ll yell at you, put holes in your walls, threaten to sue you and over charge you out the wazoo.

http://indyvoltelectricians.com/ Incompetent, unprofessional, & unsafe work.These guys give real electricians & other professionals a real black eye & need to stop passing themselves off as electricians; used electrical tape & a clamp to attach wires from meter base to breaker panel, which is a huge fire hazard. &, stated they do this all the time; it is not only unsafe it is illegal. Put light switches in upside down.

Put 15 amp circuit @ refrigerator; should be 20 amp. Said water heater was gas-no gas in house. Ripped out wiring without knowing where went to. Left screws in floor, ruined our vacuum cleaner. Left bare wires.Took nine days for what they said to be a two day job. work was checked by a real electrician & they found 16 errors-16 safety issues.The owner tried to gouge the price to get their incompetent & dangerous work corrected. Refused to address issues brought to him.

WOW! Emergency service and you can actually talk to a human. The whole experience with this company was by far the best I've had. The price was very good and the timely, professional looking job was great. I will call this company again.

I usually dont write reviews but I felt inclined to do so with this company. We sometimes feel intimidated to call an electrician because of all of the stories you hear about feeling like your getting ripped off or your getting an unlicensed electrician. Well I can say my experience with this company made me feel once again I can call someone for help and they will get the job done without making me feel like I'm paying more then I should. The guy was great in explaining what he was going to do and his price was a lot better then two other companies that gave me estimates. Very friendly people and just a wonderful experience.
