We had Homeward Bound do an inspection and it was very poor. Even though he went into the attic, he must have missed the daylight from two separate areas that showed the need for a new roof. He also identified things in the basement as problems that my wife and I couldn't see; a structural engineer said were not problems. He talked a lot and gave a great presentation, but it was very inaccurate.

To make it even better, our realtor spoke to the owner of the company. By the time he got back with our realtor, he wanted to come out and see it, but wasn't available to do so until the new roof installation was scheduled to begin. How very convenient. He was prepared to offer $500, which is a joke when compared to the cost of a roof.

Due to the law, home inspectors aren't responsible for their advice, which is good for our inspector. I'll never use Homeward Bound again and won't recommend them to anyone.

Bob Wood was very thorough and knowledgeable. I felt like it easily worth the money to get his inspection. Obviously very experienced and he was very professional in all aspects. Highly recommended.

Worked with Marc Anderson as my home inspector on two different inspections now, first house had too much wrong with it so backed out. He was very professional and broke down all the items he found on the inspection into categories for stuff that needs immediate attention, significant/expensive items that may or may not need immediate attention, and then smaller items that should be addressed at some point but are also not very costly. Marc was very clear and professional with how he presented the information. Overall extremely happy with the inspection results from both houses and the inspections allowed me to make decisions with confidence.

We did not hire this company to perform a home inspection, but the people purchasing our home did. I was not at the inspection so do not have any information about their performance. However, they left my house a complete mess. There was mud wiped on my rug, chunks of mud all over my living room and kitchen, as well as, chunks of insulation from the attic SWEPT under my bed. This carelessness reflects poorly on the company.

Stay away from this company. I had very bad experience with them. I would not recommend them. Did not inform me of major exterior damage to my home. I observed the inspector on his laptop computer more than inspecting the home. Would not admit to error in not informing me or not spotting the major damage. Would not refund my money. Very rude.
