Extremely disappointed with the way he does business. When I first met with Jeff and went over insurance plans, I made it very clear that the main reason why I wanted health insurance was so that I could get a vision plan that would cover an eye exam and glasses. I got a confirmation email detailing all of the various supplemental insurance packages I had signed up for. One of which was a vision plan that was $9.00/m. It had a brochure attached, detailing the benefits I would have with this plan. I received a card in the mail with my health insurance provider and membership information. I was billed for my insurance, so there was no reason for me to believe that anything was amiss. I got an eye exam & glasses with a Dr. that took my insurance. From the brochure, I new what the insurance would cover. The Dr called me later and said that the insurance could not find my membership. I was really confused about this, so I dug into the details and over the corse of several days I spoke with my insurance provider, the billing office at the eye care center, and the store where I had ordered my glasses. Long story short, my membership was never fully submitted to the vision insurance company. Everyone that I spoke with told me it was a mistake made by the broker's, Jeff. He is the broker and should have made sure everything was submitted. After several calls with Jeff, he was inconsiderate and put no effort on his end to help me solve the problem. Instead of offering to do the research himself, he told me to figure it out. Basically, all Jeff ever did was SELL me insurance. But when it came down to it, he didn't even do that because he didn't submit and make sure that it all went through. When he finally admitted that it was his mistake, he clearly said that he was unwilling to pay for the consequences. Now I have to pay the $200 eye exam bill that would have been completely covered if he submitted my insurance. I can not in good conscience recommend Jeff to anyone.
