This business has been ripping people off for years. My father in law who was 90 year old called him to repair a washing machine. He took the machine apart, and told him he needed to order a part to fix it. My father-in-law wrote him a check for 450.00 dollars. We never saw Dave Harner again. He took the money and ran. We have tried to contact him on numerous occasions. No response!

I DO NOT recommend Harner’s Appliance. Be aware. We called for service on 1 Jan 12. Someone showed up on 3 Jan and supposedly fixed our washing machine. It stopped working minutes afterwards. We called a little later and we were supposed to get a follow on visit and call and we heard nothing. But, during the actual service call and follow on phone call, we were told that it was probably the washing machine motor that was going bad. Because this is a fairly new washing machine (we bought it in October 2009) we did not believe we needed a new washer motor. Because we had not heard from Harner’s Appliance Center, we called another appliance repair company who came to our house on 6 Jan. The technician discovered a disconnected wire, reattached it, and we have run multiple loads of laundry through the washing machine with no issues. We have sent multiple letters to Harner’s Appliance Service and filed a Better Business Bureau complaint to no avail. We requested our money back for poor customer service and failure to correctly diagnose and fix our washing machine. We have received no response. I DO NOT recommend doing business with Harner’s Appliance for anything.
