I checked for AC repair locations in Laredo through YP and saw that this business was rated 5 stars. I also read the review and believed that it was the location that I needed. Well, the receptionist was polite but made sure it was understood that there would be a $50.00 fee for just coming out. This would not include what ever repair or materials used. I told I was fine with that and that I needed someone out to my residence as soon as possible. Well I was told that I would be called when a technician would be available later and to stand by. 2 hours later, I had not recieved a phonecall so I called back. I was told by the receptionist that yes a technician will be available sometime today but she could not give me a definite time. I advised her to go ahead an cancel the request and she politely did so. I know that sometimes you have to wait for service but it was the middle of the day and I had to get to work and could not afford hanging around the house waiting for a phonecall or a technician. I called another business and a technician responded right away. I dont know if Gateway was extremely busy that day or had a very limited number of technicians. I recommend when calling, to ask if they have anyone available or will there be a "waiting" period.
