I just got home and my wife is so angry and has never felt so ripped off in her life! She just experienced the repairman from Fix it Right appliance repair service. We had set up an appt. for him to come and see our dryer. It's having problems and we need it fixed. My wife said he gets here and says he's here to fix the dryer and very quickly walks into the house and goes right to the laundry room. He actually leads my wife to the location from the door. My wife follows him and he walks in the laundry room, he's in a very big hurry, and flips open the dryer and asks whats' wrong with the dryer. My wife is trying toi explain but she feels he is not listening to her. She can tell he doesn't want to be here, he's actually breathing hard as if he's out of breath. He asks her what she thinks the problem is. She doesn''t know but she describes what's happening. He offers to change out a few parts. My wife asks what if that doesn't fix it He says we won't know until he changes them out and sees if it works. He then says it may be the control panel but that's going to cost a couple of hundred dollars to replace that and I doubt if you'll want to go that route. He quickly unscrews the control panel from the top of the dryer, read the instructions found inside and says well I don't see a code so it must not be the control panel. He quickly screws the panel back on. My wife has already decided from his attitude and demeanor that he will not be working on the dryer. He says well if that's all I need $25 for the work done and $25 for the trip fee. She went to write out a check, and he said he won't take checks he only takes debit cards. He scanned her debit card and then left very quickly without saying anything. My wife said the whole thing was very uncomfortable for her.

All I can say is that this man is a terrible service man. He's extremely pushy and will make you feel very uncomfortable. I now know the reason he won't take a check is because everyone would stop the check immediately after he leaves. This must be his way of getting paid for terrible service. He doesn't know what he';s doing, and he;s a jerk. He obviously doesn;t care because I see other reviews similar to mine. This review probably won't do anything to change his behavior, but maybe it will save someone else a very uncomfortable experience. We got ripped off for $50. Now were looking for another repairman that can come look at our dryer. Hopefully someone who cares about their reputation and their business.
