This place sucks!! Poor care, no counseling, and Ativan to keep patients "calm & sedated". They lie about patient's conditions to family members and then do things that the family speciifically requests them not to!! For instance, husband specifically said "Do not cut her hair!" (it was beyond shoulder length) My hairdresser said that it looked like they put my hair in a pony tail and then hacked at it with office shears. Told husband that I needed to be Baker Acted before they could treat me. Not true!! Husband siigned HIPPA release to allow mother to get information on me. She called (lives in Michigan) and was refused any info on me . She was told, "If you want to know how she's doing, then come down here and you might be able to see her". Mom told them she lived in Michigan and that my husband had authorized info to be given to her. Their response was "too bad for you!". I wouldn't put my dog in here!! As it was the medication they were giving me obscured the actual problem and I ended up being moved to Florida Hospital in Sebring where I ended up on life support!
