I only wish I read these reviews prior to hiring Father & Son of Newark NJ / New York to move into a 5 room apt - 3 of which are bedrooms. Everything you read in the prior posts happened to me too!! The job cost more than double than quoted, my furniture was held hostage,,,,I help load and had 3 more people come to assist with the unload!! Sal / Sandy are very personable and give you the distinct impression they are stand-up, honest folks - this couldn't be further from the truth!!! Sandy arrived with her arm in a sling - stating her adult son knocked her down - for all I know this is part of the scam. Damage - lots and lots of damage from my grandmother's table, to my mother's secretary, my grill - to the knob a lamp!! The only things that weren't damage were the things I packed myself!!! The movers didn't have tools and I was charged the 1 hr it took me to locate the tools they needed!!!

I can't say this enough - avoid Father & Scum, I mean Son!!!

Are very honest, pleasant and hard works!
They did everything perfect! I definitely recommend for everyone!!

Paid for 3 movers - one guy never got off the truck or moved anything. He stood by the truck and smoked cigarettes all day. They lost all the screws to my daughters bed. My 2 year old bedroom set is destroyed. It looks like it was dragged across cement. The foot board of the bed has 4 inch gouges in it. The company will do nothing about it. I have contacted a lawyer.

This company is the worse company when it comes to work Ethics and doing the job the owners,name is Sal ...he took over the family business and is driving it in the dirt with his Bad Business Ethics ,please review their ratings with the better business bureau they have a F that's the worse rating you can get ....DONT BELIEVE THE POSITIVE REVIEWS THEY PAID WORKERS EXTRA TO POST GOOD REVIEWS .....IF YOU CHOSE THIS COMPANY OBVIOUSLY YOU DIDNT DO YOUR HOME WORK

awesome company.....my job went smooth....alll men were experienced and friendly......i have used father and son a few times, all with great experiences...i highly recommend them for your move

do not use this company. if you do you will be very sorry. they don't deliver

I used this company for a fairly local move and it was disastrous. The move cost twice what was quoted; careless and inefficient service just an awful experience. Stay away!

Will try to say their professionals that's why their prices are so high. All moving companies are the same. This one is just a rip off!!
