Today we used Empire Plumbing for the second time and once again they did a great job came when they said on the phone and charged us just what the quote was. Several months ago my daughter moved into a new house and had major plumbing problems we called Empire and they took care of everything for her. ache time we have had dealings with them they were very kind and professional I would recommend Empire to anyone that needed a plumber! We contracted Capital Plumbing, Anthony Detrapini,(currently of Empire Plumbing Sewer and Drain Cleaning) dig up our whole front yard in 2001 to replace old crock with a 6 inch sewer line. He had someone else pull a permit, never had it inspected and had it covered up by the time we got home



OUR MISTAKE: not watching him.



HIS MISTAKE: he dumped our lifted/ broken sidewalk pieces into the hole and broke our main water line Front yard had to be dug up AGAIN!! AND he used his brother's license and company truck.



GOOD PART: We won the small claims court judgement to repair the water line.



BAD PART: he never did put in the new 6 inch sewer line (just a clean out in the yard.) We found this out when our basement backed-up years later and we had a DIFFERENT company come out with a camera!!!



We get the chance to have our front yard dug up again, WHOOPIE!! Don't let either company anywhere near your home

My basement was having a drainage problem to the point where I could not flush the toilets without having it appear around the drains. I called empire and had them come out. They quickly diagnosed the problem and were even willing to work out a payment plan as like all Michigan residents I was struggling financially. I mean these guys did a great job, were clean, professional and courteous, accepting only a small down payment to start and allowing me to be on a monthly payment plan. I would recommend these guys to anyone! I have in fact already started with my own family (my brother-in-law) and sister-in law have a similar problem and are receiving great work from empire boys as well.
