I hired Efrin Martinez (EM Landscaping) to landscape my yard. His company re-installed sprinkler system & heads. Installed 10, 000+ sq ft of Kentucky Blue Grass. Bushes & a few trees. The contract included bringing water to all trees & bushes.His workers did an Excellent job while on the job. The contract also included 1 year of follow up! The sod was installed late summer/early fall, by the following Spring our Sprinkler heads needed adjusting. And, one large area where they did NOT bring enough sod for (very large area equivalent to an average size yard) had to bring sod the following day, this sod area has been half dead since instillation. Maybe different sod company, no idea! Also as a landscaper (they are knowledgeable enough to know) clearly there was NOT enough product put down before sod to amend our clay soil, last year had about every grass disease known. Where a professional told us to rototill the entire sod & plant seed! Called over 100 times to his biz, cell #, (Efrin at the time had a tire shop in Brighton) called the tire shop. Never a return call! Efrin was pulling into our Todd Creek neighborhood early Spring, my wife followed behind him to a job he was working on, explained our situation, he said he would come by that Friday (in 3 days) that was 3 months ago. Called him again, left messages, no return calls!Needless to say about 3/4 of our sod does NOT receive the correct amount of water from irrigation system, our rocks around the perimeter of lawn receives more than plenty, therefore weeds are constantly popping up in rocks. My advice if you want SERVICE, follow up SERVICE, questions answered, calls returned, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT hire EM Landscaping for your landscaping needs! Too many good landscapers to choose from today!Thanks,J Martinez
