I highly recommend this company to anyone needing HVAC service. My Dad started this company in 1967 and I purchased it in 1995. In November 2004, Marty and I went on our first mission trip to Gualcinse, Honduras. Or, maybe I should back up and say that Marty “drug” me on our first international mission trip. At the time, I was too preoccupied running my heating & air conditioning company, Ed’s Comfort Solutions, Inc. This company, that my father started in 1967, and I eventually bought in 1995, was a business that I had devoted my life to since I was a kid. It was not only my livelihood, it was my passion.

This first trip changed our thoughts, our priorities, and ultimately our lives. Since that time, we have been on many trips back to Honduras. But, it was after our second trip that we felt God calling us into the mission field. We were not clear if that calling was to be full-time or part-time. We also thought that maybe because God had blessed us financially, that He wanted us to fund other mission trips and provide support to missionaries.

After a lot of prayer, fasting, and tears, God graciously gave us an answer. We now had no doubt. We knew God had called us to sell the business, move to Central America, and become full-time missionaries.

We left the States on August 25, 2007 for Costa Rica to attend language school for one year. We were diligently praying while we were in language school for God to open doors and lead us to the place where He wanted us. That's where God introduced us to BMDMI (Baptist Medical Dental Missions International)

We have three girls; Leslie (22), Lyndsie (19), and Madison (13). Only Madison will be traveling with us. Leslie is married to Grant Gressman and is already committed to her career and Lyndsie is enrolled in college and studying Culinary.

Marty was an elementary school teacher, but has been in graduate school for the past four years obtaining her Master’s in Clinical Counseling. She hopes to use her counseling skills in Honduras.

All of our lives took a major change in August 2007. Our family was separated for the first time, and we no longer had an income. But God has been faithful all of my LIFE!

All this to say, Ed's Comfort Solutions is still your best choice for HVAC needs and by using this company you'll be an active part in God's call on my life.
