I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Unprofessional. Kept changing the day and time that they would be coming. The first time they didn't show up or call to let me know that they wouldn't be able to make it. When they were done with the repairs, one of the team members told me that for that job it ran $100.00 for the first hour. I received a bill two weeks later for $250.00. Chris the (VP) said it's $125.00 for the first hour and the other $125.00 was for the extra hour of driving. I said double the price is unfair amount. Maybe $30-$50 would be a little better. Since they're not using any of their equipment.

The most promp and enjoyable experience! I had previously gone to another local pool company. After giving them my $2,500.00 deposit it turned into a nightmare! I then found Havelock Pool. Cindy is always a pleasure to do business with. She is at the location by Food Lion in James City. I explained my horrific experience with the other Pool Company and she guaranteed that the work would be done in a timely matter and done to my satisfaction. I cannot rave enough about the wonderful crew that installed my pool! Chris the supervisor is very kind and thorough. I am embarrassed to state that I do not recall all the names of the installers. However; the experience I had with their service will leave a lasting impression. I went into Havelock Pool end of July. Cindy gave me the date of August 1 for pool to be installed. The men showed up on time and did the job start to finish the same day! They did not even leave for lunch! The men were very informative and very professional and wonderful personalities. By Monday, August 6 i was swimming. We later had rain. I thought the pool had been possibly leaking. Joe, the owner; came the day I called to inspect it. No leaks it was rain! He still did not become frustrated with me for wasting his precious time having to come look; even though he was at another job across town; he still came. To top it off while Joe was testing for any non-existing leaks he was kind enough to gather bricks that were dug up in my yard and made me a walking path toward the ladder to my pool! Did not even charge me. All from the goodness of his heart! I have dealt with two other pool companies in New Bern and both were a nightmare. If you are looking for fair prices, exceptional service done in a timely matter with professionalism then Havelock Pool is the only way to go! Other companies that I have had experience with do not keep the same employees for any length of time. Havelock Pool has had the same crew for many years; they are like family and treat customers like family as well! Last pool company did not even come to asess my property until the date they gave me for completion! Havelock Pool set the date and showed up on time and completed the job above and beyond my expectations! I have been enjoying my pool so much that i may try and push my season until the first snow day! Thank you Joe, Chris, Cindy and all the hard working men at Havelock Pool!
