Went into Desert Sun today - because I had one spray on mist left(have been going elsewhere as they are so expensive) and they said that they had to scan my fingerprint. WTF? You want my fingerprint - u already have my cc # How about I show you my driver's license. OH NO you can't have it- huh - Why do want my fingerprint??? Why would I be stupid enough to give an unsecure network my credit card and my fingerprint!! TO TAN ?? Now I have to wait for the"owner " to call me back as I want a refund and the girl at the counter said I couldn't get a refund with out my fingerprint !! WTF? - If I could give negative stars I would.



P.S why are you charging for wink ease and goggles ? All the other places let you use them? Why are you charging such high prices for lotions? Why when I have come in the past and there is no one there you think its okay to talk to your boyfriend for 10 minutes on the phone while I am waiting ?? Do not use these facilities the owner has no clue how to run a business.

I agree with the above, "bad used car salesmen" statement. I'm not looking for a career in professional tanning, or to spend hundreds of dollars a month on tanning, I just want a tan for a few months out of the year. I hated being hassled every time I went in to either buy another lotion for this purpose or that purpose, or being hassled to upgrade. Will never go to one of these salons ever again.

they are like bad used car sales men...i tried to join the desert sun in yelm, wa....but because i wouldnt spend enough money they would not leave me alone......insisting i had to purchase extra stuff just to be able to tan!! I JUST SAID NO!!! beside they arent the only tanning salon in town. stand up for yourself to and say no to more and more and more money!!!

I went tanning at Desert Sun and hated it! They are way too pushy and always want to upgrade your package to something more expensive. The beds I bought into are never available and I am always urged to upgrade for a more money!! Customer service is horrible. Way too pushy and sales like. What happened to just tanning????

I have been going tanning for many years. I have always enjoyed taking 20 minutes to relax. Everytime you enter Desert Sun anywhere they hound you with buy this, use this! I just want to be left alone. It feels like this chain of tanning salons is like the Walmart of salons! Where can I find a local salon thats friendly and just lets me tan!
