I have used Chastain for 13 years and they are wonderful! Kind, compassionate, caring and knowledgable vets and helpful friendly staff. Highly recommended!

This place is a scam! They just want to sell you everything under the sun. They don't really care about you or your pet, they just care about making as much profit as possible.



Our dog has several medical conditions so we buy his meds from an online vet pharmacy which is cheaper... but Chastain won't fax the prescriptions to the pharmacy because they want us to buy the medicine from them, which is double the price!



Horror Story: We tried to schedule a blood test for our dog; first they gave us an appointment for 2PM, but when we get there they tell us that they can't do the test because our dog was supposed to be fasting (why did they give us the appointment for 2PM?!). Then when we returned the next morning for his test, we leave our dog there and they tell us they will call us when he is ready. NINE HOURS LATER, they call us... and when we go pick him up they tell us that they missed the time when they were supposed to take his blood so that we have to bring him AGAIN to do the test! This is such a waste of time for us and such a torture for our doggy!



They are very greedy and uncaring. We are finding another vet ASAP!

Just want to make you aware of the Preston Road Animal Hospital/AKA Chastain Medical Group! These people let my beloved dog just die and refused treatment on my her. I brought her in because she was vomiting and drinking a lot of water and eventually stopped eating. They diagnosed her with diabetes and pancreatitis. Due to bills and fixing a broken window, I didn't have any extra money and they REFUSED! REFUSED! to treat my little Sissy! I told them I would have to pay on the following Friday which was only 3 days away! I told them I would pay anything to make her better, and all I got was, "Sorry, we can't treat her WITHOUT payment!!!" Can you believe that?! They are so worried about getting their money, they just let a part of my family just DIE! After taking my dogs there for the past 10 years!!! They have gotten every penny!! Well thats ok, I hope they suffer some day like my poor Sissy did! I wouldn't even rate them one star, but you have to pick 1. I will keep writing bad things about them until they are out of business! or until I die! Good thing they aren't my heathcare provider's!

A Concerned Animal Lover!

You walk into this vet clinic and you are immediately welcomed. Your pets are handled w/passion and care. My 2 cats, Paige and Hubble, had some dental work done there. They are doing great and will continue to go to Chastain. Chastain also has a great boarding area, but call early b/c it does fill up quite fast.



The thing that impresses me the most is the care my cats get. The assistants/nurses/doctors treat my pets as if they were their own. I've gone to a few of the other clinics/hospitals, but Chastain is the one Paige and Hubble will stay with.
