David just finished our gutters & I am thrilled with how they look & perform. He was not the typical gutter person who just came with the 'measure, quote & go' mentality. He took time to analyze the unique situations of our house and made appropriate recommendations. (Ex: One of eaves was slanted the wrong way for water to drain properly but he had a couple different options as to how to make it work. Also, porch overhang was too close to adjoining roof for two gutters so he suggested a small metal edge on porch side so that it would drain into the long gutter on eave. Perfect solution!
He started on a Friday & it rained the next day. He actually came by to check on performance of what was completed. Said he can determine how it's functioning better when it rains which makes great sense. Also, when he completed job, before he even presented the bill, it rained again & he called to make sure everything met our expectations.
We recently purchased this home & it had water issues under the house so we wanted to do everything we could to drive water away from the structure. I asked if he would do extra long extensions that word span over the flower bed & spill onto the sidewalk. He gladly did & we installed a retaining wall along sidewalk & hid the downspouts in boxing made of matching stone that simply looks like dividers in the flower beds. The gutters worked perfectly discreetly feeding the water away from house & onto sidewalk, which drains to the yard.
Don't be deceived by his hippie appearance. He knows the gutter business & is very conscientious to do a great job & please his customers. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering gutters and who wants a great job, especially if you're having water issues. And, by the way, he was cheaper than the one other estimate we got. I normally get 3 estimates but after talking with David, I felt he was the right one for our job. So glad we chose him! Excellent service from start to finish!
