Watch out!

Stay away.Sent an incompetent plumber. First misdiagnosed the issue; second broke open a pipe which flooded my downstairs with sewage; third in trying to fix the damage he caused, the plumber splashed purple primer all over my cabinets and appliances (if you know this plumbing chemical, you know it is indelible); fourth refused to fully fix the damage; fifth when I spoke with the owner Joe Capps, he yelled an obscenity at me and hung up.This really is a classless, unprofessional outfit. Really sorry we called them. Ignore their big ad and save yourself a bunch of trouble.

Baffled by bad reviews...I loved them.

I hate to be the one to say this but people can be pretty insane when they have an emergency, like plumbing. I can't believe these people are talking about the same company that came out same day for my water heater replacement, called me constantly (guy on way, specs on heater, see if job went well...). Sure, it's never fun to spend money on plumbing, and it may piss you off to have to, but come on. To the bad reviews, I say "whatever" because I felt good about Capps.

Capps suck

Very bad and unprofessional extremely overpriced

Do not deal with this company the owner is rude. they take advantage of older people and they over charge them. There are different companies in town that provide much more honest and professional service. They have over 10 complaints with BBB, their rating is not A+

stick needles in your eyes, rather than call Capps

started with a small leak in valve going into washing machine ($260.00) paid. Leak persisted due to improper valve installation by " trained technician" who cracked the pipe. The owner, Joe, (see review regarding class action suit) your typical, con man, hustler who refused to acknowledge mistake and the $260.00 leak became a $425.00 leak. His last words to me were, "Go F...yourself". A shorter review would be..... experience was pure torture.

Great service & company

I had an emergency situation and I am so glad I decided to go with Capps plumbing. They provided me with same day service and showed up within the alloted time they told me. the serviceman was professional and knowledgable and I felt like I was in good hands. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone in the area.

Wanted a service fee for an estimate - beware

People, I've had service industry businesses all over the states and have dealt with plumbers and plumbing companies all over the US as well. I have NEVER been asked to pay for a "service charge" when trying to get an estimate on re-plumbing my whole home that would have been thousands for this company. They are the ONLY ones that wanted me to pay them for an estimate from EVERYONE else I called. If they cannot afford to pay or keep a quality estimator on hand, they are not worth dealing with in my opinion.

A company who treats their employees bad and customers worse

I have first hand knowledge that the owner of Capp's Plumbing, Joe continually cheats his employees out of hours that they should be paid. He doesn't have a time clock therefore he keeps records of his employees hours worked which works to his advantage. As if he doesn't have enough money living in Hawthorne Woods but he finds the need to steal from his employees. He can't keep great people since he consistently ridicules them and cheats them out of their money. He claims to have 50 years in the business but he started his business in the late 90's. Obviously, this man, Joe can't do his math unless it means cheating his employees out of hours worked. Little does he know that he will have a class action suit filed against him for wages not paid. Imagine a man who cheats his employees working for him in a customer service industry like plumbing. That's right customers, he is cheating you out of your hard earned money by overcharging and selling jobs to you that you do not need.
