I have had Cox since CableAmerica was sold to them. For some reason, Qwest came out and disconnected my phone to hook me up to Qwest service. I called Cox, they came out and said there was nothing wrong. It took them 6-7 days to finally get me fixed. My service goes out about once a year since going over to Cox. Not good when you have medical conditions plus an alarm system. The phone service going out totally screws up the alarm system and causes it to start beeping and becomes non functioning. Not fun at 2:30-3:00 in the morning.

If sign on with cox about the sametime I did late 2009, when they were physically beating thye streets for customers. You might have, as I was been captureed by the sign-up bonus of a new DELL Notebook computer, to be delivered shortly after your payment of the first months charges, thats was December 2009, I'M STILL WAITING! Contact with both DEL & COX have to date proven fruitless. And in comparing Cable to Satelite over thye past 6 months I"ve seen only a minor saving with cox, but is the Anxiety and the since of abandonedment worth it? You decide!

I have used Cox as my cable and internet provider since 06 and have never had a problem. Yes my cable has gone off but the customer service reps have been more then helpful to me. The internet is amazing and works better then my friends that have other company's. At one point people were bringing their laptops to my house to use my network as it is reliable and now they all have Cox. I know things are going to happen no matter what company you go with but my overall experience has been wonderful for the past 3 years.

i got cox intenet and phone in nov 2008 come to find out from the day i had it hooked up my phone didnt work

i didnt not know this cause the phone was only used for adt security system no phone was ever used from the

landline. i finally figured it out when i was trying to talk to my husband which is over seas on sky and the internet

would not work.. so in the end i changed to qwest and i have paid for a phone line that dont work and a adt

system that dont work so that left me out about 200.00 dollars for paying for stuff that dont work...

When the cable TV goes down they take their phone off the hook so they do not have to answer the complaints. Poor service – as unusual the cable is out and they will not pick up the phone. If you have an alternative to cable TV from COX I suggest that you go with the alternative. COX Sucks…….
