I was vacationing in Tillamook over spring break, and my truck broke down. It was my fuel pump. The part cost $258.00 from O'Reilly's. I told Burden's I had price checked it and made sure it was in stock. I offered to go pick up the part for them. They declined. I went to pick up my truck the next day and was charged $450.00 for the part! When I asked Mrs. Burden, the owner, why there was such a cost difference, she stated that is what the fuel pump costs, and that is what they paid. I asked for the paperwork to O'Reily's and she said, "Well we're not trying to rip you off". She wouldn't show it to me. I was also charged dealership shop rate of $85.00 per hour! I went directly to O'Reily's and verified that they only paid $250.00 for the part. When I called back to Burdens, Mr's Burden finally told me she charged me list price and said, "Haven't you ever bought furniture before?" Then Mr. Burden got on the phone and yelled at me and hung up. They are disgusting people. Stay away.......

The guys came down to Newport to load our helicopter on the transport trailer to be hauled to California. What a couple of gentlemen. Their work was awesome, and you could tell they were totally aware of our concern for our "baby." This is what American small business is all about - family and work ethic. You can't go wrong dealing with them.

Chances are if you have any kind of automotive trouble in or around the city of Tillamook, you will end up dealing with Burdens towing. I'm telling you that you could not be in better hands! This is a family owned business that treated us like we were part of their family. They also have an awesome mechanic, Kenny, I think.
