FANTASTIC!

The outside temperature dropped down into the 30's and sure enough our heater stopped working. We immediately called Brennan Heating and found that we were among many people with sudden heat problems. We feared that it would be days before we would have someone out but as is the standard with their service, we were taken care of much sooner than we could have hoped.



Brian Murphy was our service provider and he was outstanding. Our problem was a bit of a mystery since it started to work once he showed up but instead of chopping it up to poor user error on our behalf he thoroughly cleaned, and tested our unit. After further exploration and a great walk through explanation for us, we realized that it was a combination of a dirty filter (that we had replaced the day prior) and an emergency shut off valve within the furnace. He was patient, professional and very thorough during his visit - all qualities that we have come to expect from Brennan.



Working in the heating and air conditioning industry can not be an easy one since people tend to only need you when things are dire (as is typically the case with us) - the fact that they have time and time again shown up in an impressive amount of time, have more than capable employees and have great prices is why we will be customers for life.

2 years ago I purchased a heat pump from Brennan. After a few months the insulation they installed on the pipes from the heater to the heat pump expanded and contracted and came apart. They came out to fix it and all they did was take the duct tape off of my work bench, they did a piss poor job of wrapping it up I called they never came back to fix it. Recently they called to setup and annual checkup. This was supposed to include a filter and cleaning out the heat pump. He came out vacuumed out the unit and said he was done. He did not check out the thermostat and all the other things that were promised. He said I have a special filter not included in the $182.00 service call. He said he was not licensed to clean out the heat pump. I sent him on his way. Complained to his supervisor in writing with pictures of the crappy job, they never even bothered to call me back. Call someone else.

I have read and seen but I am confused on some issues. Please try be more clear next time.

I went through Costco and was suppose to get a good deal. Brennan's salesman came and was good at what he did. Said that they would take care of the permit required by my city. Included would be a duct test no charge. The furnace was installed and the people doing the work were decent and answered my questions. About a week after the install I received the permit in the mail. The enclosed letter told me I needed to contact the city for final inspection. I took time off from work to be at home to let the inspector in. First thing he asked was where was the duct test. It was never done. I called Brennan and got the runaround. The people that answer their phones are not nice to deal with at all. They tried to make it my problem to work. I had to finally asked to talk to someone else. Basically now I have to take more time off so someone came come and do the test them I will have to try to get the inspector back. I've already been told by another furnace Company they could have given me a

I am building my own new home (not a contractor) and I got into a position where I needed a new HVAC company in a hurry. I called Brennan to have them send out an estimator. After waiting a week and a half, I got a call 20 minutes before the 9AM appointment saying there was an emergency and they were not going to make it. During rescheduling they said the earliest would be a week away. I said that wouldnt work to no avail. So I drove totheir office to explain I had plumbers that need to talk to HVAC to make sure they stubbed out water lines correctly. Once there I was told maybe thurs. At that point I said that if I had to wait another week I would not need the estimate. I cant have plumbers doing nothing. At this point the lady I was talking to shouted (yes shouted) "Really? Thats the way you want to be? I am sorry we have [other customers]." That was the first time I had been aplogized to that day. Dont expect their front office to help you if there is a problem.

I continued to put off replacing my furnace for almost as long as possible. When I finally did I intended to get 3 bids but went with Brennan at the second bid. I am a single mom and there was nothing "salesy" about these guys. Just professional and informative. I am someone who asks a lot of questions, and makes sure I know what it is I am spending my money on. These guys were great, even when I made extra calls to them to find out information they had probably given my the first time around but hadn't sunk in. They were always patient and helpful. The same guy came to the house for the estimate and the install. I think his name was Ryan. I thought he was great. I am in real estate, and would recommend them to anyone... but you don't have to use my name.
