I would absolutely not recomme...

I would absolutely not recommend this company, especially if you can't be there to prevent overcharging. While we were out of town, Bishop Plumbing charged $425.84/hour for a simple rodding. We believe they took advantage of a young housesitter and over-charged. In addition to this, they would not guarantee their work based on the size of our clean-out. Other companies have guaranteed their work with the same size clean-out for much, much less. Complete rip-off.

So mad I can only cry

The bad reviews all over the web speak volumes about this company. They advertise like no tomorrow with free stuff and then rip people off. They refused to address the core problem with my broken toilet seal because that would be ' a lot of work '. So OK my wife says. They simply reseat the toilet and leave. Essentially they just put stuff back (poorly). It took 20 minutes and they charged $580. Their customer service stonewalled my complaints. They were too busy making up glowing reviews to offset all the people who want them out of business. Please tell anyone who will listen to stop passing their promotional material out. Or at least send then the 100s of online reviews I wish my wife had looked for.

Scam Artists - Do NOT

Please save yourself and call another plumber. Bishop plumbing is not a professional company. Their standard rate is $500 per hour, but of course they will not tell you that when they start the work. Don't allow them into your house. I had a horrible experience with them and hopefully this review saves one person from making that same mistake.

Overpriced Natural Gas Shutoff Valve Install

I needed a gas shutoff installed on an existing roughed-in, capped, gas line. They gave me a "flat rate" quote for $450 this small job and were done in 15 minutes and trying to sell additional services I didn't need! I should've refused their quote but was stuck in a corner having already take off work and needing this done that day. Later that day I called their office to express concerns about being charged $450 for what took them maybe 1/2 hr for quote & work and 1 hr travel ... ($300/hr!!!) and give a 2nd chance to make things right. The Office Manager offered me a $30 refund only if I signed a form that I "waive my rights for any future refund"... $30 is a joke, and nowhere near the $250 I wanted back ... I wasn't interested in cutting my losses as I'd rather share my experience all over the Internet so people know the truth about Bishop Plumbing. Afterward, I checked the BBB website and found their D+ rating! LESSON LEARNED: ALWAYS CHECK BBB BEFORE HIRING A CONTRACTOR.

Overpriced Natural Gas Shutoff Valve Installation

I needed a gas shutoff installed on an existing roughed-in gas line. I got a couple fixed rate quotes over the phone but hired Bishop for $75 to give us a "flat rate" for the work where the $75 would be waived if we accepted their quote. They came out and gave me a "flat rate" of $450, $250 more than I expected. Having already taken off work, I had to have this done, and authorized it. They were done with this small job in 15 minutes. Later that day I called Bishop Plumbing to express my concerns and give them a 2nd chance to make things right. The Office Manager offered me a $30 refund only if I signed a form that I "waive my rights for any future refund".. $30 is a joke, and nowhere near the $250 I wanted back ... I wasn't interested in cutting my losses as I'd rather share my experience all over the Internet so other can avoid being scammed.Afterward, I checked the BBB website and found their D+ rating. Bishop Pluming is nothing more than a symbol for crooks and thieves

Early this week, Bishop pluming send me one of their crooks; his name Johnny. A man who is not human, nor he is unhuman or inhuman rather; he is non human species.I wanted him to repair on spiget. He said it would cost over $1500.00. Of course I refused to have him do the job. He run my washer for 8 minutes calling the operation diagnostic! Finally, and after argument with him, he ripped me of for $230.00 doing nothing.I got a nice pluming company and they did replace the two spiget, fixed the wall comletely, changed the washer hoses for $449.00Bishop company is a company of thieves. Consumer be aware and never call this pluming company because they are nothing more than a legal thieves.they will trick you to sign papers and they tell you all kind of lies so you would be intimidated and you have no choice. I pray To The Almighty God , Johnny you may spend every dollar you took from me on your children in illness and pain and suffering. You are the ultimate crook in this whole

100 Negative feedback

I called and spoke with Diana for pricing. She was rude and basically ended the call after my inquiring about the fairness of paying $79.95 for them to come out to estimate a simple sewer rodding. Weird behavior in the internet age. Passing on my experience. Hopefully they will get better after sharing this feedback.Update:OMG: My head is spinning after reading the BBB complaints against the company. Thank goodness she hung up on me. Looks like they only keep suckers on the line.
