Established in 1967, Black Community Developers Inc. is a nonprofit community and faith-based organization. Based in Little Rock, Ark., the organization serves low-income, underserved, disadvantaged and at-risk youth, children and families. It carries out various BCD Homebuyer's, health and wellness as well as Supportive Housing programs. The community also operates The Nia Center, a project designed to train youth and adults in areas of professional writing, job skills, computer literacy and social activism. Apart from these, Black Community Developers Inc. runs the Youth Activity and Hoover centers to educated individuals about various diseases and to help people with addictions.
