Barnett & Associates, Inc., formerly One Call Inspections, was started in 1983 by its owners C. Dwight & Debby Barnett. Once the owners of Barnett Construction Co., a Home Building & General Contracting Company, Dwight & Debby opened the first Home Inspection business after realizing the needs of home buyers in and around the Evansville area. In the early 1980's home buyers were starting to educate themselves on the "ins and outs" of real estate and wanted to know more about what they were buying. They wanted an unbiased opinion from someone with real life experiences in the home building and remodeling industry. Barnett & Associates, Inc., was the first home inspection company in the Evansville area to provide this service and has been an industry leader since the company began.
