I had brake issues on my RV on a Sunday. Scott came in and quickly diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. He fit me in on Tuesday morning and I was on the road by 9 am with no impact on the family vacation. Highly recommend this establishment.

Scott was very helpful. I had a bad ignition coil in my F150. The dealer wanted $190. Scott fit me in to a booked schedule, ordered the part and the repair done in less than an hour for $70 less.

On Saturday, July 14, our GMC Envoy lost the a/c in 90 plus degree heat. It is apparently very difficult to get anyone to look at, let alone help with car troubles on a weekend in Bar Harbor. We found Scott at Bar Harbor Auto and cannot say enough good things about Scott and the Bar Harbor Auto shop. He took the time, was so professional and courteous and, even though we are Yankee fans and Scott was a BoSox fan, he treated us wonderfully. Although he was not able to fix our car because it would need several parts, he didn't charge us anything. Thank you Scott and Bar Harbor Auto! Your New York Fan Club!

I backed my Audi into a boulder and bent my right muffler. The car was functional but I needed the muffler bent back to the tail pipe opening for it. I called him up and he said no problem and that it'd only be a half hour labor or so, and he was right (just 1/2 hour of labor: $37). He heated up the muffler so it was bendable and he got it back into shape. I am relieved that it was taken care of and for so little money.

Took my van to my hometown dealer (FORD) told them check over all brakes, going to Maine and don't want problems, they said brakes are A OK. Well I get to Cadillac Mnt. and coming down 1500ft. front brakes went, had wife, daughter, son-in-law, and my Grandson on board. This was at 8:30pm. Fri. night Ford closed Sat. and 900 miles from home. A nice lady at the Motel said she knew a mechanic, she called him at home at 9pm. he told me to be at his shop at 8am. Well to my surprise he was, there! nice clean shop, said no problem I'll get right on it. 2 hours later my cell rang, Mark said all done. It was! I have never been able to get this kind of excellent service at home, nor have it done right the first time, and the price was 1/2 of what they would have charged me. I was hesitant about what I would get being so far from home and getting ripped off as a tourist. Mark quelled my fears and will use him without reservation again, he is honest and does excellent work. Maine a way of life!
