Beautiful pictures, professional service!!

My husband and I had Jake come and shoot our Wedding Reception, although the venue had it's own photographer on staff. Jake was very professional he arrived early and wore a suit, something that I wish the other photographer had done.

After the honeymoon when we looked at the photos Jakes pictures stood out as the most original.

Don't get me wrong he made certain to get all of the traditional shots but he went above and beyond to really capture the essence of our wedding. I worked hard to make sure that our wedding was not a cookie-cutter wedding and the last thing I wanted was a cookie-cutter photographer. Jake make sure to get the perfect balance of both traditional photos as well as candids, and out of the box pictures.

The photos we got from Argent Road will be the photos that hang on our walls for the rest of our lives.

Hired Jacob to do my prom photos and they turned out fan-friggin'-tastic. I didn't want them to be like everyone else's portraits, I wanted something unique that I could look back on in a few years and feel like I didn't waste my money on some cookie-cutter photos.



I asked Jacob for suggestions for what we could do so that the pictures remained classy and yet at the same time didn't look like anyone else's. We settled on shooting the portraits in a way that looked as if it were almost like oil paintings for an English nobleman. It took a little extra time to get them processed but the result was SOOOOO worth it. I ordered a poster size print which I have mounted on an old wooden frame in my mother's house. I look like the Duke of Buckingham or something.



Jacob's willingness to think outside the box is what sold me on him. The quality of the photos is amazing and all, but it's what he DID with the photos that made me love them.



You will not regret hiring him.

Jacob did some photography work for us on a few separate occasions. He shot our 34th Anniversary Party as well as our Free Comic Book Day event and even took some inventory and store photos for our website. The photos turned out better than we ever could have hoped and he got them back to us almost immediately.



He's a great guy and his prices are more than reasonable. You will not be disappointed.

The first time I worked with Argent Road it was because Jacob was one of many photographers shooting a live event where I was performing. Out of all the images I saw from about ten different photographers his were inarguably the best. I was very impressed with how he was able to get phenomenal shots even though the club was crowded and poorly lit. I immediately booked him to do my very next photo shoot in Dallas and not only did he do an amazing job on my personal photos, he was on time, professional and had my images back to me in an amazingly short time. I think all told I’ve worked with Argent Road photography for ten to fifteen different photo shoots and if I had my choice I would never work with any other photographers. He’s got a great eye and is always willing to try something new and daring in a shoot, that’s definitely a plus because I’ve met so many photographers whose only response to a fantastic idea is “Nah, that would never work.” Trust me, no matter how crazy or off the wall your set idea is, Jacob finds a way to make it work… and make it look good.



I’ve probably done every sort of shoot imaginable with Argent Road, portraits, gowns, alternative, action, pin-up, etc. I can’t ever recall a time when I’ve been disappointed in something that’s come through this studio. I just wish that it was based a little closer to Dallas. Though, he does on occasion travel to other cities. If you're lucky enough that he's in your area my advice is to book with him as it's unlikely you'll find anyone more skilled, especially not at the incredibly reasonable rates he charges.
