I asked for a landscape design and a proposal for small house in West Jordan I own. The scope was to furnish the design for a $400 feee and a bid for the work to completely redo the backyard.



paid Ms. Aoki $400 On June 13 for a design and a bid to redo the backyard. She told me she would finish the design and revert to me in 9-10 days. I received her design 25 days later. It is not drawn to scale. It does not accurately reflect the existing large trees and landscape features and their actual placement. An existing broken concrete patio of approx. 15' x 30' is not addressed at all. It addresses a south side cover carport which was not requested. There are many other questions and issues with the plan. The bid for the services is in a word, ridiculous at $37000 for small backyard. The plan does not make any sense Ms Aoki is unwilling to even to respond to my emails or meet with me to address my concerns or clarify the plan.

I wrote Ms. Aoki on receipt of the plan and asked for clarification on July 9 and expressed my concerns. I have not received any response. I wrote again on several occasions and still no response as of July 22, more than was weeks after the plan was sent and 40 days since our first meeting. Unresponsive and Unprofessional.

The plan was late 15 days. The plan is not professional nor does it address the main points discussed. To not respond is inexcusable. I would not recommend this contractor.



August 5, 2104: In spite of what Ms. Aoki states she is not "corresponding with me to answer my questions". I sent her an email July 24 stating that i still do not have a valid plan, but only a corrupted file. She still has not responded to that email. It is now 51 days after the promised date.
