Tom Thompson came to my house to fix my washer and dryer and wanted me to pay him upfront for the repairs. I was an idiot and did so. That was over 3 months ago and nothing. He kept saying he was ill. But now his number is conveniently disconnected. Took me for almost $400. Stay away from this man!!!

Tom Thompson is scam artist for sure. We had him come out and look at our refrigerator. It wasn't getting cold. He placed and order for the part at our home. We paid him $366.59 to cover his coming to the house and for the part. He said he would call when he had the part. We called several times and he told us that he would call when he had the part in his hands.
Well, it now three weeks and no part. We tried to call him today and found that the number we had is no longer in service. We have been had by the scam artist. I won't even give him a star, but I must for this post.

Tom Thompson is a scam artist. He ripped me off and charged me $100 ($35 for trip visit, $65 for "everything he did"). I told him I needed a heating element, but other than that the dryer worked fine. He pulled the dryer out and removed my clips from the vent and kept them. He then called someone with my model number and then hung up. He proceeded to tell me to buy a new dryer that is would cost too much to repair. $292.28 would be the cost to repair the "assembly unit". I repaired the heating element myself for $95 and called disputing his $65 charge. He admitted he ripped me off and would refund my money. Said he would mail the check. Ha, still no check and after repeated calls to him, he apologized for ripping me off and said he needed the money. He wants to pay me back but doesn't have the money since his balance in his checkbook goes up and down. Time to take action so he doesn't rip off anyone else.

Called to repair icemaker 4/14/15. Absconded with my $287, and never called again. Spoke with him and he said he was having financial difficulties, but promised to get my icemaker. This is Dec 2, 2015, and I have heard nothing from this scam artist.

Terrible business. Failed to fix our appliance and refused to issue a refund. Repeatedly lied to us. On thin ice with his parts supplier. This also is not a valid address for the business.

He does not honor his warranties on his parts, he doesn't refund money!!
