Very personable and professional from the owner to the crew.
they wrapped all of furniture packed it safely, and delivered without incident.
They also supplied all of the mattress covers for the mattresses, plastic covering for the couches, padded blankets to wrap all the furniture, and they dismantled all of the furniture too. movers were courteous, prompt and efficient. Price by the hour is reasonable. Everything went as planned. Considering the potential problems with moving, they strongly exceeded expectations. I don't plan to move again, but I'll gladly recommend these people to others. Not ONE thing was broken or out of place.

How cool are these people? I'm inviting them to the housewarming party whenever I finally get everything settled in. I not only got cool movers, I've made new friends.

really quick and professional. After I had my stuff and was able to verify that nothing got damaged I paid the bill in the easiest manner with my Visa card.

Very unprofessional. At pickup, one gentleman was quite rude and the other 2 smelled like marijuana. At delivery, gentleman was incredibly rude and left large pile of garbage in my neighbor's yard. Very poor communication from both pick up and delivery crews, didn't call ahead as promised.

Several furniture items were damaged, including scratches, dents, and water damage. Multiple boxes were lost. Exercise equipment was lost. Boxes arrived smashed and torn. Evidence of water damage, including mold growing on shoes. Company didn't even alert me to water damage, even though it was so bad they replaced my original boxes with new ones (and obviously didn't air anything out or it wouldn't have grown mold).

Beware of $0.60 per pound refund - I didn't know the weight of the missing boxes, so they "assume" a low weight. And exercise equipment that costs thousands still only gets refunded at $0.60 per pound - I wouldn't be surprised to see it end up on Craigslist.

Overall, very disappointed. I've learned some lessons for future moves, including better inventory and weighing of boxes prior to pickup. But you can be sure I will NEVER use American Knights again.

Choosing American knights moving was the best decision on my part. I had a few more contenders but I chose these guys purely based on intuitions. They turned out to be pretty damn good! The movers they sent were just amaze balls. They knew what they were doing and they came with loads of packing materials to help them. They immaculately packed up my 3-bedroom apartment into boxes and left within a few hours. I received the delivery right on time and found all my valuables intact in their van. I don't know how it would have been with the other movers but I am definitely glad I chose these guys.
