Lisa Alvarez specialized in custom wall aging treatments. Distressing. And aging, customized to each Client's specific color needs and desires. After years living abroad, Lisa Alvarez has finally returned to Los Angeles with her brilliant new feature wall creations. During her travels, Lisa came across numerous old abandoned villas, chateaus, and estates. She was able to slip inside most of these structures for a close up look and found the inspiration she was longing for. She was able to see through the shambles of decay, into the past of what these structures once looked like in all of their glory. In discovering the beauty in these dilapidated and deteriorating structures, she knew exactly what it was she would be bringing home. This was the birth of her feature wall concept, “Alvarez Walls” Lisa’s skills and method of layering materials in support of each other are unmatched. She is brilliant in working with existing structures, to bring forth their truest potentials, integrating feeling and emotion into her creations. Incredibly talented at pushing creative boundaries in ways that command respect and redefine traditional design aesthetics, her attention to detail and excellence is reflected in her work, as she is unfailing in creating indoor and outdoor feature walls with equal magic.
