I find it interesting that Dex removes any negative rating from their site, not allowing you to get a clear perspective of a company. I'm sure this review will eventually be removed as well...Jared installed our decorative curbing just before a large rainstorm was going to hit. We questioned his decision to install and he stated that if we bought his sealant that all will be fine. Within hours of him leaving the color and antiquing had been washed away, the curbing was pitted and some had washed away. We contacted him the next day; he did not make an appearance until 8 days later. He stated that he was not responsible for damage, disliked demanding customers and refused to negotiate with them, and would replace the damaged curbing only if we paid him AGAIN, although he did give us a lowered rate. Here we are 7 weeks later and have not seen or heard from him. We have also realized after re-measuring our curbing with a measuring wheel (just like he used) that he overcharged us for 34 FEET! I hope that others will learn from our mistake and not ever hire such a non professional company. UPDATED: Jared was made aware of my review and quickly called my husband telling him to F**** Off! And that he would never be back to our home. I also see that he made a comment on my DEX review of his company and unfortunately, shows his true colors once again by lying about the situation. I will reiterate that we were concerned with the upcoming storm when he arrived at our home and were quite surprised that he came to our home anyway. HE is the one that insisted that the curbing would make it through the storm. We were on no time schedule to get this curbing done. We had saved for several years and another few days or another week or two would not have made a difference. BEWARE of Altered Edge Curbing!

I find it interesting that the business may respond to a review, but you are not given the opportunity to respond or update your own review. Saying this, my response is that the owner is trying to cover his butt by lying about the conversation that took place when he arrive at my home. Once again let me reiterate that WE, THE HOMEOWNER, were worried about the impending storm and HE, THE BUSINESS OWNER, stated that the curbing would weather the storm perfectly with his sealant. Let me also state that this professional called to "discuss" the review by telling my husband to "F*** OFF!... Yes, sounds like professionalism at its best. I also find it interesting that the pictures that I uploaded to DEX have been deleted. I suppose this is so you won't have to see the "minimal damage" that was done to my curbing...

I would definitely recommend Altered Edge to any one who is looking for any kind of landscaping done. They came out and did my grandparent's house for a wedding that we were having. They were very professional and surprisingly fast. The curbing looks great! We liked it so much that we had them do the entire yard. It has increased the value of my grandparent's home by thousands of dollars! Thanks Jared! You guys are awesome!

Jared definitely knows his business well. I had no idea what I wanted, but he showed up and gave me some suggestions. He is very professional and I love my new curbing. I definitely recommend him!!!

We were planning a wedding for our Son stationed in Germany, the weather had not cooperated AT ALL this spring and (The Other guy) we had hired had told us there was no way the yard would be ready by the big day, A friend recommended Altered Edge, We called the next day and he was there within the hour to give us a bid (A much lower bid!) and returned daily for the next to weeks going above and beyond to ensure the curbing was done for the wedding. Guests at the wedding Raved about the curbing and how beautiful it was. These Guys are truly The BEST!!!

Jared was very helpful and proffesional, we had no idea what we needed or wanted, he really took good care of us and was the best price we could find.

We had a project that other curbers wanted to charge alot extra for all the starts and stops. Jared came out and did it for the normal pricing. To make matters worse I live next to a school bus stop, and the kids were playing in it as he was driving off. He stopped and repaired it all for us. YOU WILL BE VERY HAPPY WITH ATLERED EDGE!!

(Just left my house). I had to take the time to let everyone know. They will go the extra mile for you. LOOKS GREAT! very happy.

I had them do my curbing this past fall in Perry, Utah. Their price was great and the quality was superior to any done in my neigborhood!

I would recomend to everyone, They had the best price, and did a great job. very nice to deal with.
