Only completed half the move. Owner accused me of lying about a conversation concerning the move I had with a staff member whom I later was told was the owners brother. Moving crew was polite and efficient. Pricing was reasonable. The owner was very rude and abusive during our phone conversation. I requested packing for my kitchen and was not told before hand that packing service was not provided until the crew arrived the day of the move. I requested two (2) trucks be used and a 5 man crew. Only one (1) truck was sent with a 5 man crew. The owner refused to complete the remainder of the move when he and I were discussing the second half of the move and an argument developed. His final comment before he hung up on the phone call was "Good luck finding someone else to finish your move before tomorrow." The date was April 30 and I had to be moved before May 1.



This mover has never contacted me since the move and I have never been offered any type of mediation. If you look at my review, you will see that my issue was not with the staff or quality of the work performed. It was with the owner. He failed to uphold what was originally agreed to via our phone conversations. All I can add is if you use this company, please do the following:









1. Have a representative come out and view what needs to be moved. I was told this was not necessary. I trusted the owners experience as to what was needed, even though I did ask for two (2) trucks and was told it wouldn't be needed.



2. Get it in writing. I should have know better than to accept verbal promises from the owner. There is no way show our phone conversations that took place. It's a he said/she said type of situation. It's up to you as the potential consumer to weigh our responses and decide whether to give this man your business.



3. If you decide to spend your money and trust your move to this man, and changes occur during the move, get these changes in writing or video/tape with your phone the conversation that takes place between you and the owner/staff. If you don't have your moving agreement in writing, at least then you may have some recourse when the owner/staff make changes to what was agreed.



4. I had not mentioned the fact that I am handicapped. This was a non-issue as far as I was concerned. The agreement to what services were to be performed should not be based on my disability. The job should have been completed no matter if I have a disability or not. For Mr. Hildenbrand to infer that my disability kept his company for completing the move as agreed to is insulting.



Mediation was finally forced through the process at Angie's List. The result was a stalemate result as Mr. Hildenbrand refused reasonable mediation accommodations.
