After years of children causing damage to door and closet trim, and the doors themselves, we decided to hire someone to repair and/or replace the trim and doors.



Andrew did a really outstanding job. The new joint work was excellent, and his repairs made the woodwork look like new. As he finished each room he carefully cleaned up before moving to the next area.



Andrew brought his tools and set up a mini workshop in my basement. When he left I realized the floor was cleaner than it was when he arrived.



The total experience, his bid, purchasing material, repairs and cleanup all exceeded my expectation.



I would strongly recommend AKB Custom Builders if you have construction or renovation work.

AKB replaced the tile floor with a bamboo hardwood floor that was flawlessly installed, even under the heat registers where you rarely look! Crown molding, new toilet, vanity, sink & cabinets really pulled it all together. The house is anything but square, but you wouldn't know that to look at the crown molding which looks seamless! I LOVE the hardwood floor and the care taken in the planning to make sure it would look great when finished. AKB is my contractor of choice for all repairs and remodels regardless of size!

For years we dreamed of a new kitchen. Now we have it and couldn't be happier. Family gatherings are so much better with our new kitchen where everyone loves to hang out. Andrew was the most professional and trustworthy contractor we have every worked with. He was fair and delivered more than promised and in less time than expected.
