I have only recently become associated with your company in connection with appliances I purchased at Lowes. The staff at Advanced Applaince Services has been keeping me apprised of the status of a backordered part for my OTR microwave. During that time, I have noted that the quality of service I have been provided has been a definite “cut above” what I am used to receiving from other companies that I deal with on a regular basis. I wanted to express my appreciation for a job well done. Specifically – when I have received a phone call from a member of your staff at Advanced Appliance Services: They always seem to know what they are talking about. They speak English clearly and distinctly. They never seem to be having a “bad day”; and most importantly – They have called me BEFORE I have called them for a status update. As a supervisor of administrative and customer services for more than 25 years prior to my retirement in 1998, I can tell you that the combination of all the above qualities in one support staff is quite extraordinary. Thank you to the office staff who kept me updated. Also, as I have purchased a 4-year extended service contracts from Lowe’s on all of my appliances, I look forward to continuing this excellent professional association with Advanced Appliance Services for many years to come. Thank you Advanced Appliance Services for a job well done!

I found myself in need of a wa...

I found myself in need of a waterline for my dishwasher; since it is an Asko I was directed to Advanced Appliance for service. A service call was set up with arrangements made that tile-installers, working in the kitchen were to allow the service technician into my home. I was informed that the universal waterline I had purchased at Home Depot would work, a service call was $85, and that I would be notified about 30 minutes before the technician arrived so that I could, in turn, notify the tile-installers.

I was indeed notified the technician was on the way. Some 20-30 minutes late I was contacted again by Advanced Appliance and told that my total cost would be $205.00! I agreed (what else could I do?) and, when I returned home found that the dishwasher’s kickplate (the plate under the door that covers the mechanism of the dishwasher) had not been installed. I had removed this part in order to see if I could replace the waterline myself.

When I contacted Advanced Appliance the next morning I was told that the technician alternately; could not find the plate (all parts were sitting in plain view in a kitchen cleared for remodeling, and/or thought the tile installers had removed it in order to work there (the installers were working on the walls not the floor when the technician arrived and left for lunch in order to get out of the way). I responded that since they had contacted me twice before beginning work they should have contacted me concerning the kickplate and, silly me, I thought $200 would include putting the machine back together! I was then informed that they would return and install it but I would be billed for another service call. At this point I began to become agitated, grew loud, and the person on the telephone hung up on me.

I then contacted my credit card company and contested the charge; funny how nice and sweet people get when this happens.

The end result is work was completed on my dishwasher, to my satisfaction but not without having to fight for it. If you hire Advanced Appliance by all means pay with a credit card and be on-site while the work is done.

Not very Condiderate and timely.

I have had two experiences with this company and neither was very enjoyable both times they never keep the original appointment and had to reschedule for two days later both times. Going without a refrigerator for days is a little annoying, but taking days off work to meet them only to have to take another day is frustrating. The work that they do whenever they show is decent, but no details on the status of the appliance.

Outstanding Service

I had another company out first who drug my repair on for weeks and finally informed me that my machine was not repairable. I called Advanced Appliance Services to get a second opinion and they not only repaired my machine in five minutes but explained in great detail why my machine stopped working. I am very pleased with the service from the friendly office staff and skilled technician. They are very professional and reasonable. The first company that came out wore a tee shirt with a bar logo and worn-out jeans. His truck leaked oil in my driveway and didn't display a company name leaving me to worry about my safety. Advanced Appliance Services was dressed in a neat uniform displaying not only the company logo but the technicians name. Their truck has a professional logo with the company name largely displayed. I would use them again and recommend them to my friends and family. Thank you Advanced Appliance Services next time I am calling you FIRST!
