We were extremely happy with ABC Appliance Repair when we called about our washer and dryer. They were able to give us same-day service, and super-nice technician Ray Trujillo diagnosed the problems quickly and accurately. Plus, when ordering parts he discovered that the "Kenmore" appliances had really been manufactured by LG ... "You got a Mercedes with a Chevy sticker," he said. Ray returned two days later with the needed parts, fixed everything within a half-hour, and at no extra charge replaced a crushed dryer exhaust hose we didn't even know about--even cleaned up the lint afterwards with our broom and hand-vac! The first-visit service charge was applied to the cost of repairs, and we got our 10% Angie's List discount too. It's great to find a small, local company that does such a great job!

They came out to look at my refrigerator promptly but quoted a repair price that was more than the value of the refrigerator. It seems that the estimate was high for the repair.... I ended up paying for the service call and still had to buy a new refrigerator in addition.

Would definitely recommend to anyone in need of appliance repair! great experience, the secretary was pleasant to talk to and the tech was knowledgeable and personable. A+++

Hired off of a friends recommendation. Our fridge started to beep and the display would not work. Called ABC the next morning and they showed up right away. Ray told my wife to unplug the fridge and wait 30 min. She told him we did that already but for a shorter time. He stated that it might work but probably needed a computer board. He charged us $63.16 to tell us to unplug it. He stated that the service fee would be refunded in the form of a discount on the part. She agreed and he said he would call back with a cost. He called back three days later and told us that GE would not sell him the part. We needed to call GE and have them send out a tech to fix the fridge. I called the office and asked for a supervisor and was denied but was told to give my info and they would get back to me. The lady then started yelling and repeating her self about the service fee was for driving out and diagnosing the problem. Unplugging the fridge is not a diagnosis.

Our refrigerator started beeping Friday. My wife called ABC Saturday. The lady answering the phone sent out a technician right away. She explained to my wife that there would be a $59 fee. Ray showed up the same day. He told my wife that she should unplug the refrigerator for 30 mins and plug it back in. That might solve the problem. She told him that we had done that. Ray never tested any parts. He charged my wife $63.13 and would get a replacement computer board. Ray said fee would be refunded in a discount on the part. She agreed and order the part. We heard back Tuesday. He said GE wouldn't sell him part. He said to contact GE to get a tech to repair the fridge. I called office and asked for a supervisor, was told not possible. I was asked for info and the issue. She replied they charge the service fee no matter what because they drove to house. I told her that unplugging the fridge is not a diagnostic tool. She yelled for 5 minutes about the service fee and just repeated herself.

Best service hands down from start to finish! Thanks for setting a high standard for the lacking service industry of New Mexico! We need more companies like ABC good day and happy holidays to all!

I called in and they were available the same day, i wasnt available until the next day so we planned for then. The next day Norm came out and fixed my refrigerator and oven!thanks for fixing up my appliances! happy holidays!

I was told my compressor was broken and starter not working on Thursday. My granddaughter called and got my daughter's repairman to come out and fix the thermostat for $150, which is a little over twice the amount of the diagnostic charge from ABC Appliance repair on Friday. My refrigerator cost over $3000 new but they wanted $699.00 for compressor alone. They charged me $63.13 to misdiagnose the problem and recieve money fraudulently!!!
