EMERGENCY ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE: Request 24-hour emergency road service by calling 1-800-AAA-HELP (1-800-222-4357). We will need your name, membership number, membership expiration date, and phone number. We will also need to know the type of vehicle and its exact location; its license plate number; the nature of the difficulty; and the tow destination. Members can count on AAA for emergency road service response 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, anywhere in the United States and Canada. We will either enable the vehicle to operate under its own power or move it to a safe place. Basic AAA includes towing five miles in any direction or back to the station; AAA Plus and AAA Plus RV provide enhanced towing benefits. Emergency road service response is provided at no charge; the nearest contract station will send a truck to the eligible disabled vehicle. The AAA member must have been present when the vehicle became disabled and must show a valid membership card and picture identification to the response unit (unless being present would jeopardize your personal safety). Please read our Emergency Road Service Guidelines and Extended Road Services. Members may not upgrade to, and new members may not sign up for, AAA Plus or AAA Plus RV to cover a pre-existing breakdown. Upgrades apply to future breakdowns.
