Wanted to change my pool over to salt..contacted Steve quick estimate accompanied by knowledgable & professional service! Would definitely recommend!!

Just the facts: I called Steve when my motor on my filter stop working. He came out within hours (quickly) and replaced the motor and the pump for about $600.00. (not sure why the pump too) The liner had slipped out of the copping so I asked if he could put it in. He said he needed hot water. I was unable to give him hot water at that time so he said he would do it when he closed the pool. The electric was off in the neighborhood and when it came back on and he was gone and the motor went on but it had a leak from the pipe going into the pump. I called immediately and he said he would take care of it when he came back to close the pool. When he came back to close the pool I mentioned it again and he said he will take care of it when he opens the pool. I asked about putting the liner edge back into the copping and his assistant told me it could not be done because liner was old. When I called to schedule the closing he quoted me $260.00. Pool closing cost: $225+31.50 Shock+12.50 Super Gizmo+15.75 Tax equals $274.25 I paid $280.00 cash (listing here says "cash only") but he had no change so he gave me a $5.00 credit.

Having to replace our liner after a major leak over the winter, Steve and his crew came to our home and gave us our options and his recommendations. We were treated with courtesy and respect and felt very comfortable with Steve and the guys. We picked out our new liner and they pressure tested all of our lines (inground pool) to try and figure out where the leak came from. All problems taken care of, new liner put in, and we could not be happier! They were there when they said they would be, and we are quite happy with the liner and the work that was done.

Our in ground Pool had a leak that we paid Steve's Pool's approximately $189. My husband told Steve that he thought the problem was the light. Steve did do a repair to the light; however, this did not correct the problem. I contacted Steve and brought to his attention his website www.StevesPoolPros.com which stated that he guarantees all pool repairs. He replied that he was unaware that this was stated and that he was not responsible for what is stated on his website. I find this interesting because it now has been removed from the "repair" link on his website. His home page still claims:



"Our service programs are flexible and individually tailored to meet your specific needs. Whether it's a subdivision swimming pool or a small spa on your patio, we will customize a program for you. Your satisfaction is guaranteed."



His repair link now states:

Leak Detection and Repair

If you think you have a problem, call us first and let us provide expert assistance. We offer leak detection, including underground pressure testing.



We did not receive "pressure testing" and our pool is still leaking & our satisfaction has not been guaranteed. We can not recommend someone for a job that does not back his work and we would like to save someone else the expense and aggravation of doing business with Steve's Pool Pros. Sincerely,
