There is something to be said about using a local business, You know they take the time to get the job done as carefully and with excellent results. I had 23 VSH-C tapes which had my most precious memories, my deceased grandmother, my children as babies, birthday parties, wedding and etc. When I came in with the box, the owner said "no problem" he said he was glad to do it. Not only did he do the job for what I considerable an affordable price, the Cd's he transferred them to had nice labels and came in a professional DVD covers that was also labeled, I have come here before and had passport pictures done and they are quick, done on the spot and again reasonably priced. Quite awhile ago I came in to restore a very old picture for my husband's family and the results blew me away, I could not believe it, I did not think it was possible. I have more VSH-C tapes and old glass photos and of course my son's high school picture that I need them to do and I know they will do an outstanding job! With memories they are so precious you want someone you can trust to get the job done right and Paradise Photo and Video does an excellent job every time.

Terrible Service -- Lost Film!

Five months ago, I dropped off two rolls of film at Paradise Photo for developing. Returning a week later, the fellow who I assume was the owner or at least the manager, was unable to find the film. I said I would return a week later. I did, and the film was still missing. I returned a week after that, and he still could not find the film and even had the audacity to suggest that I had never brought in the film! He expressed neither sympathy nor any outward interest in continuing the search, which he did each time I returned by flipping through the stacks, looking though a pile of paper or two and saying something like, "Nope, still not here." He was glib at best, utterly insulting at worst.

Fast forward four months. I receive a call from a young lady at Paradise Photo, letting me know that my film had arrived and I needed to come pick it up. As I no longer live in Natick, I requested -- over the course of four or five phone calls -- that the film be sent to my home address. I just called them back today -- a month after they called me -- and they still have not mailed me my photos.

I don't like disparaging people, but the group at Paradise Photo, especially the owner, have a combined IQ of a rock, the personaility of pondwater, and the professionalism of a newborn skunk. What in the universe is wrong with these people?
