Our family has been going to Dr. Elgas since before she opened her own practice. Her staff is accommodating and friendly. Liz, the optician, helps pick out great glasses and runs an extensive trunk show every year. I would recommend Dr. Elgas (Comprehensive Eye Care New England), to anybody.

Dr. Elgas and her staff are a pleasure to deal with! They always find a way to fit me into the schedule for a check up - even though they are always busy. I love working with them to find just the right glasses and the personal attention is second to none. Dr. Elgas is a thorough and caring doctor who has referred me when necessary without any trouble. She finally found the way for me to enjoy wearing my contacts!

Dr. Elgas has a gift with contact lenses. I was always told I was a very difficult fit because of my astigmatism. She fit me in toric lenses that I've been wearing more-or less since I met her.

All-in-all, I would say she's very good at what she does, is extremely conscientious and takes a personal interest in her patients.

I've been going to Dr. Elgas since before she opened her own practice. Love her!!! I find the office tranquil and warm and she always spends as much non-rushed time with me as I might need. The optician, Liz, has been with her since the beginning. She has chosen frames for my wife and I and many of our friends. Really knows her business. I would recommend Dr. Elgas and company, (Comprehensive Eye Care New England), to anybody and everybody!

Picked up my glasses Friday. A big thank you to Dr. Elgas and her staff for getting me set up with my first pair of progressive lenses. I absolutely love the frames! Thank you Elizabeth for selecting frames to compliment my face - I am NOT an easy customer. Always a great experience when it's time to change up my look. Don't miss the trunk shows if you're on their mailing list!

I had an appointment here.. I go in get checked and receive my prescription, I go out and choose frames (selection is awful) I sit with this lady and she proceeds to tell me it will be 598.00/600.00! I told her I have Davis Vision... she says to me oh ya... you pay us and get re reimbursed through your ins. just call ins. hmmm I get back to my office and call Ins. they said this isn't how we work you present your card or they can even pull up your coverage when they run your BC/BS.. So these people already knew this as standard practice!!!! they were trying to lie to get the cash knowing I would be out my $! I called them with this information... and suddenly they know they don't take it no reimbursement!!! So I cancel my eye glass order and ask them to please fax over my script... it took me 3 call and nothing was ever sent! in fact I couldn't reach any one but the receptionist which didn't have a clue of her surroundings ,never mind how to transfer a call! next day I call with same request please fax my script over ... now the new lie is ,is that I gave them the wrong fax!!lol so they try and re send... not 2 min later they call and say our fax at my work is out of order!!!! are kidding me?! At this point I am so disgusted with this place the lying , run around so dis hearting!!!I go to another eye doctors they call them and request script to be faxed to them... it does but it not my script!! its a reader script I can get at CVS?! WTH!!! they call back and request this AGAIN!!!!! they said OH the patient wanted this faxed over? WHAT? doctor says know... I wanted her prescription faxed over! finally my prescription was sent !!!! I received my glasses and paid 115.oo big difference!!! this place is a scam !!! BEWARE!!! Stay far from this office and the staff she employs!!!!!!

I love Dr. Elgas, all around she is a great doctor and I would recommend her to anyone. She takes the time to get to know her patients. However, there is one receptionist who is very rude to customers when calling in as if your requests are an inconvenience to her.
