Founded in 1847, Cathedral School serves students of prekindergarten through sixth grade. It has a wide curriculum that includes English, mathematics, history, geography, economics, business, computer technology, religion, fine arts and health and physical education. The school also offers classes in Spanish and French. The school s facilities include computer labs, libraries gymnasiums, playgrounds, stadiums, a cafeteria and chapel. Its offers various sports programs, including soccer, football, basketball, baseball, softball and bowling. The school has a library that offers a wide collection of fiction, nonfiction and story books, encyclopedias, dictionaries, magazines, periodicals and newspapers. Cathedral School is member of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
