These guys are a scam. They will find a way to cheat you out of your "refundable" deposit, mark my words. They show up late and charge you from the original time they were SUPPOSED to be there. Owner is a liar and furthermore calls his customers liars in response to a complaint. Take a hint from my and all the other reviews regarding Tight Grip Moving (look up reviews for them on other websites). If you find a review for this place that is good, chances are they left it themselves. You will be sorry if you hire this company for moving services.

These guys are crooks. I initially called the unnamed owner of this company regarding the details of his $99 groupon. He suggested it is a better deal if we make the deal outside of groupon. He added all his extra fees and as an idiot I agreed. He subsequently charged my credit card the full amount. All his team had to do was to move a one bedroom apt (with only 3 pc's of furniture) into a trailer being hitched to a Jeep. Although they packed everything in tightly, they said there was no room left and I was moving THAT DAY. I put a lot of nice stuff on Craig's list and some of it didn't sell, well over $1,000 worth of stuff. I gave it all to them, as I thought they were nice guys. I gave them $100 moving dolly that I didn't "think" I had room for. I moved from Nashville to San Diego and upon stopping in Tuscon, AZ I noticed that they threw a trashbag full of trash into my trailer which exploded in my trailer - nice. Two weeks later the owner called me and told me that if I didn't purchase the groupon within 72 hours he would charge my card an extra $225. I bought the groupon for $99 to get him off my back and emailed him the groupon #. HE STILL CHARGED MY CARD THE FULL $225. SO I'M OUT WELL OVER $500 FOR MOVING VERY FEW ITEMS TWO FLOORS DOWN INTO A TRAILER. Litigation with bank pending. Do not be a fool like me and let them move you. YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!! Yes they do seem nice - it is a front!
