South Garage Children's Way Entrance On Children's Way, between 23rd Ave. and 24th Ave. Free valet parking is available Monday through Friday, 5 a.m. to 8 p.m., inside the entrance to South Garage. If you park in South Garage, enter the hospital from the connecting bridge walkway on the second floor. Information desks are near the entry doors on the first and second floor. For long-term parking options, call the parking facilities office at (615) 936-1215. We provide our hospitality shuttle service as a courtesy for families and friends of patients with extended stays. On-call service is available for Ronald McDonald House, Hospitality House, Holiday Inn, Marriott, and Loews. Call (615) 936-1215 for information. RV parking Vanderbilt offers RV parking at lot 75 near the corner of Blakemore Ave. and Natchez Trace. Call (615) 936-1215, option 3 for details.

My son had a gash across his leg that became infected the day after he got 10 stitches, so we had to rush him here (this was the summer when the flesh eating bacteria was causing people to lose limbs). The ER was very slow. He had to wait for 6 hours before they told us he needed surgery. However, once he was admitted and after his surgery (he was there 5 days) I was very pleased. The nurses were great, and the doctors were very calm and caring. I felt that he was being properly cared for, and I would definitely take him back.
