Market, our garden center is Nashville?s destination for indoor houseplants, unique pottery, landscaping supplies, flowering perennials and annuals, shrubs, statuary and thoughtfully curated home goods. Gardens of Babylon is open seven days a week and our garden center staff is always available to help you find inspiration for your outdoor landscape or indoor oasis. In addition to our in-store experience, we offer landscape services to help the Nashville community grow with inspirational designs and a constant focus on earth-friendly products and sustainable landscaping. From consultation to design, installation and maintenance, we work with you to cultivate exquisite plant arrangements and custom-built hardscapes for your home or commercial property.

This garden center puts a greater emphasis on native and hard-to-find plants than big box stores, as well as providing a high quality soil amendments for our Tennessee clay! However, when I ordered several native shrubs, it took a while for them to locate them at other wholesale nurseries which delayed their planting to the drought days of summer. As a result, few flourished. I wish they had been more up front about the timing when I ordered.

Their selection is limited, which is understandable given its location in downtown Nashville, but there's enough variety (and a wonderful selection of house plants) that makes up for this.

This is an awesome garden center. Lots of flowers and plants. Not a large store, but, their employees know what they are doing. They have things that you won't find at Home Depot or Lowe's! Located at the Nashville Farmer's Market.

Turn south toward the city then travel 2 miles. Gardens of Babylon is located in the greenhouses on the end of Farmers' Market closest to the state capital.
