Exotic Construction is unfortunately a scam operation. I paid the man listed as the owner of this company to install a roof. He showed me a checkbook with the name Exotic Construction on it. The address he showed for his business was 3008 B Hillside Rd, Nashville, TN - The phone number on his check was bogus, but his correct number is 615-753-3720. I paid him for a roof that "his" crew put on and he wrote the crew a hot check. This all happened on June 23, 2012 in Nashville. The crew contacted me and we are pursuing him for writing the hot check. He apparently preys on trusting workers to do his work, he gets paid and then writes them bad checks, thinking he hired illegals who couldn't pursue him. This time though, the crew was licensed, insured and completely legal. I can't believe that he so calmly took the money I paid him and wrote a check to his workers that isn't good. I talked to the bank on behalf of the crew and confirmed that they wouldn't honor the check. Avoid this company like the plague.
