Martha Child has been my attorney for 15 years. During that time, I have recommended her to family, friends, and co-workers. Not one person has ever complained of Ms. Child's legal representation of them. I have always been pleased with Ms. Child's handling of my legal matters. Recently, she assisted me with the probate of my Mother's will. Ms. Child is painfully honest, dependable, her prices reasonable, and she explains your options completely. I LOVE not having to search for a place to park downtown every time I meet with her. Her assistant is pleasant, helpful, and conscientious. I highly recommend Martha Child. She was the only one who really listened to my situation with my daughter and the problems I was having with the court order for my weekend and holiday times I was to have my child. I went back and forth to court on several occasions, had many, many, sleepless nights worrying about my daughter and the problem I was having to see her and even talk to her. Ms. Child was the only one I feel really took my situation as serious as I did. As a result of Ms. Child's work, the way she presented everything to the court, and all, I was able to see my daughter and was also granted custody of her.

I’ve had the displeasure and misfortune of hiring this incompetent lawyer. In general a nice woman, but I’m sure the barely 30yr old court appointed defense attorney that ate her lunch thought so too. I was embarrassed to even think I paid for this level of representation. The judge himself stated, the next time I have a problem I should save my money and contact the court first. I walked into court with a friendly happy to get along attorney that was completely walked over by a younger more aggressive court appointed defense attorney. She talks a good game but in the court room, you are better off alone. If you are looking for a mediator that doesn’t like or know how to handle confrontation this is your lawyer.
