When my family goes for ice cream the people are nice and helpful. The burgers are good, too. My daughter likes seating at picnic tables.

Bobbie's Dairy Dip is a great place to go on a hot summer day! They have a great orange creamsicle shake and we love the dipped cones!

It's everything you have heard about. Great drive-in food and quick service, even on busy days. Definitely worth a try.

This is classic, awesome ice cream with many options for all. It also has diner-style food to go with your dessert!

Such a West Nashville landmark! Mostly only come here for ice cream/milkshakes which are AMAZING!!!!

If a small town dairy dip is what you're looking for, this is the place! The food is average… But the shakes make up for it. They are fabulous! Never had one I didn't like!

The ice cream here is great. Nice to sit outside and eat it too. Had lunch here once and was just o.k.

ITS A DRIVE UP DAIRY DIP..GET OVER YOURSELF...SHUT YOUR TRAP...AND ORDER...AND STOP CRYING....the food is awesome!

You know how sometimes you are driving by the sketchy used car dealerships on Charlotte Ave., and you think to yourself, "Oh, this is just like a lovely day at the beach"?

Me neither.

However, every time I go to Bobby's Dairy Dip, I find myself transported back to long days at Hampton Beach, when I all I needed to experience ultimate contentment was a beach stand serving hot dogs and ice cream. Looking entirely out of place in its surroundings, Bobby's offers that same laid-back beach feeling that I so enjoyed as a child.

The food is not gourmet. It is hot dogs. It is fries. It is most especially milkshakes (with the Barney Rubble and Ali Baba being particular favorites). It is everything that your cardiologist just told you not to consume. But while it is not gourmet, it also makes no attempt to be. Bobby's knows exactly what it is, and embraces it with all the glorious pinkness of walls. It is a beach shack that just happens to be located 500 miles away from the nearest beach.
