I had my lashes done a few years ago and they basically looked hideous---crooked, fake, overly long. A few days before my wedding I decided to give them a try with a new salon and was really impressed with the results. First of all Ashley did my lashes and came in on her day off for my appointment they looked so natural and pretty that even my mom thought I had on an amazing mascara instead of extensions which was exactly the look I was going for. She gave me this little brush to comb them and a paper with care instructions which really helped b/c I had about 1000 things running through my head that week obviously! Anyways the staff was friendly and the salon was really clean which is a plus too. If you need eyelash extensions go their.

I started going to Aura Salon a few months ago, and have since been back three times. The staff is more than welcoming, my hair is always done EXACTLY the way I want it, and they've even encouraged me to take more risks with my hair style. So far, I'm in love!

I've been going to Aura Salon for years for coloring, cuts, treatments, etc. I get compliments on my hair regularly. My experience there is always wonderful. Everyone there is always friendly. Jeanna the owner is actually my stylist and she is amazing! Once a month, I'm reminded why I don't go anywhere else, because the Jeanna's work is above reproach. Not only is she superbly talented but she is genuinely a wonderful and sweet person who cares about he work and her clients. I've seen the work of the other stylists too and I'm always impressed. I've recommended this salon to multiple friends and will continue to recommend Aura to everyone without hesitation. I know from experience that if a cut, etc. isn't exactly what you wanted, speak up, because they make every effort to make the customer happy. I can't say enough good things about this salon and the people there. Aura salon is the first salon that I've found where I am completely happy every time I go through the door. I'm always greeted when I walk in, and I always feel beautiful when I walk out.

I had a horrible experience with Jeanna, the owner of Aura Salon. She was supposed to do my bridal hair, and she canceled on the day of my wedding claiming that a "pipe broke" in a rental property that she owns. After returning from my honeymoon, I contacted Jeanna to request a refund of the $100 that I spent on the hair run-through. She refused claiming that she will not issue a refund for services that were provided. Well, I would have never done a run-through of the hair style if I had known that she would cancel only 3 hours before my wedding! Nashville brides should certainly avoid this salon if you don't want the stress of cancellations on your wedding day.

I made an appointment with Julie to get my eye lashes done for the first time. The appointment was scheduled for Wednesday, May 25 at 3pm; being that I live 45 mins away, I left work early arriving at the salon at 2:15pm. As I was putting my car in park, my cell phone rang with the salon employee on the other end informing me Julie "just could not do" my lashes and wanted to reschedule for the next day. After informing the employee I was 2 steps from the salon's front door, I received no sympathy what so ever! I then asked (not offered) for a referral to someone who could do it as I could not leave early from work and drive another 45mins to possibly face another cancellation. I was placed on hold for 15mins before I finally got frustrated and hung up! I would not recommend this salon or Julie for any services and I will make sure to spread the word about my experience!

I recently decided to change my hairstyle after 8 years of long layers and, honestly, a drab look. I am new to the area and depended on Googling salons to find someone to make a major change in my look. After a lot of searching I realized that CJ's name kept coming up, so I tracked him down to Aura and made an appointment. Let me tell you ladies< if you need a new, fresh look that compliments your facial features - GO SEE CJ!! I took in several pictures and explained what I was looking for and right away he knew. Scissors were snipping and hair was flying and when the dust settled I had a fabulous new look! Trust me when I say, just leave it in CJ's hands and you will walk out looking like a million bucks. The real kicker - I get my bangs trimmed for free every 3 weeks.



Run, don't walk to Aura Salon and have CJ take care of you!!
