Nove go here their billing practices are very bad they add services not rendered with vague if any descriptions to defraud the insurance company and the patients

This of course is just my experience but it is and experience i will not forget this is what is wrong with our healtcare system today its set up for profit by fraud

This hospital uses the worst Credit Agency ever- Northeast Credit Services. The reps are rude and they do not follow the Credit and Collections Policy Act Laws. I had a medical bill from St. Joseph's hospital and due to being out of work and ill in the hospital St. Joseph's sent me to Northeast Credit Services for non payment within a time period of two months. I did not received any calls or letters from St. Joseh's first before then sent me to this agency. Then I received one call from the agency stating to call them back. I called them back and they stated I had a $ 200.00 bill to be paid but could not tell me for what the services were for or provide me with a copy of the invoice. How do they expect me to pay a bill that I don't know what services were performed, when and without an invoice???? I then called St. Joseph's back to receive a copy of the bill and they couldn't help me either as they said it was in the Credit Agencies hands. Two days later this bill was on my credit report from the Collection Agency???? With the help of Experian I finally was able to find out what the services were for and it ended up being a bill I wasn't supposed to pay as St. Joseph's had billed my insurance company incorrectly and turns out the appt. should have been covered!!!! Before St. Joseph's/ Northeast Credit Agency ruined my credit they should have tried to work with me and provide all the ness. doc. I needed so this could be worked out instead of ruining a middle class working man's credit due to their own laziness and lack of concern.
