At Michael's Skincare @ Unisex Body Waxing, we not only do the best body waxing in the area, we have some of the most attentive and customized skincare treatments. We cut absolutely no corners on quality, safety, hygiene, and customer service. We have been named Body Waxing Salon of the Year in Naples many years in a row (we sort of stopped counting), and it is all thanks to the highest quality body wax from Spain, an amazing Master Aesthetician and owner, Pilar Galian, and a flexible and convenient scheduling system via StyleSeat. We have also recently implemented a great new skincare regimen with the addition of Michael, Pilar's son, as our Natural Skincare Aesthetician. We offer some incredible and relaxing facial treatments to choose from, depending on your needs (such as age-defying, acne, cancer skin healing and rejuvenation, or just pure and utter pampering and bliss). During a wax procedure, you will notice we always wear vinyl gloves, we do not recycle wax, we never double dip the applicator back into the wax, and we keep our salon to hospital levels of sanitation. We do that because it is important to your health, our health, and because we are results-driven, not profit-driven. We use a 100% all-natural wax that we import ourselves from Spain, and it is the best we have tried anywhere (and we have tried them all, it is what we do). The wax has the lowest melting-point of any other wax thanks to quality ingredients like the mineral titanium dioxide, the same mineral used in quality sunscreen protection, to keep the melting point of the wax as low as possible so your skin is not irritated like with other waxes. It is also a very pliable wax that is easy and far less painful to remove than others that adhere to the skin due to higher temperatures. We have hard wax (stripless), soft wax, and roll-on wax, and we will use whatever we feel will provide the least painful and most effective solution for the area of the body you would like to have waxed. Your long-term skin health and safety is our top priority. Specially designed lotions and oils from the same manufacturer who makes the wax will complement the pre-wax and post-wax stage of your hair removal. During a skincare procedure, you will notice that your physical and mental comfort, as well as your long-term skin health and body health are our top priority. Here again we have selected one of the very best skincare lines in the world that is renown for its extreme care to avoid any harmful or potentially harmful ingredients. This line of skincare products is so safe, they make a line especially for cancer chemo and radiation patients - which we also carry and use for those types of clients. It is an incredibly effective yet gentle line of products. No toxic chemicals, no cruelty testing on animals, and 100% vegan. We absolutely love this line and use it ourselves at home, and we are sure you will love it, too. Education is also a major component of our skincare services, and we want you to understand your skin type, skin condition, and why we will use products specifically designed for normal, oily, dry, sensitive, or TLC (tender loving care - as we would use on current or recovering cancer patients) on your skin. We are also very happy to help you improve your at-home skincare regimen so your skin can continuously improve in suppleness, radiance, and overall health.
