Couldn't speak more highly of both the class & the staff. Outstanding people with great knowledge & a desire to teach. Each staff member has a unique way of helping each student relax which allows freedom to learn. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or an expert - this class, staff, and store has you (the customer) at heart.

I have never been more relaxed in the class or shooting guns as I was with this staff. They are very knowledgeable but they don't try to force anything. I was encouraged to relax and take my time with shooting. The class was very informative as well. If you don't know anything about guns or if you know everything about them, I highly recommend Smokin' Barrels!

I have never owned a gun, but with the state of our economy and current political environment, I thought it might be a good idea to purchase one for home defense before our second amendment rights are grabbed away. I checked out several of the "big box"sporting goods stores and left frustrated having not received the information which I wanted to make this important purchasing decision. As an after thought, I walked in to the "Smokin Barrels" gun shop in Naples and met with Gary, who took his valuable time to educate and inform me on good weapons choices for home defense. We made the deal and I left Gary's store feeling educated and satisfied that I made the correct decision. Additionally, the following weekend, my wife and I attended and passed the concealed carry course offered through Gary's shop.Bottom line, we both passed the course with ample range time to feel confident in our firearms abilities and safety concerns. Gary's family run business made us feel comfortable, confident and competent, because they do a great job caring for, educating, and offering a wide range of competitively priced firearms and accessories. Being a business owner myself, I know when someone is in business just to make money or if, like Gary and his family, they are in it because they love what they do and they care deeply about the safety and satisfaction of their many loyal customers. After going to a gun shop in Ft.Myers and was treated with no customer service and very disappointed, I was very apprehensive about going to another gun shop. When my husband convinced me to try Smokin Barrels, I was so glad he did! I was so impressed with the true passion and knowledge the staff displayed. Every member of the staff is highly proficient with their skills and customer service. Highly recommend whether a professional or a novice. You will not be disappointed. It would be advantageous to any enthusiast looking for any historical guns, personal knowledge or for self defense.

I don't understand why this place only has 2.5 stars on here...I love this gun shop! Great, friendly, and family owned. The atmosphere is wonderful. It's also very clean and orgnaized well too. The staff is very informing and answered every question I asked with knowledge and confidence. I HIGHLY recommend this store out of all the gun shops in the Naples/Fort Myers area.

I met these fine folks about 6 months ago and have been stopping in to exchange weapons info, buy products and just chat with them about our favorite subject-weapons. They are all very nice folks, who know their business and offer fair and competive prices for their excellent inventory of weapons and asccessories. I have also placed a couple of guns on consignment with them and they sold them for what I consider to be excellent prices.
