When we explain our storage facility, we stress the units are not climate controlled and proper care should be taken when storing personal items. Ace Super Storage went out of our way trying to help this customer. We were understanding when she was unable to pay her bill on-time. We, once again, in an email stressed the importance of storing items to avoid mold/mildew issues (SW Florida is both very hot and humid. This person not take any of our suggestions that were both given orally and in a follow up email. When we gave her 2 weeks to remove her belongings after paying just the rent due to that point, she did not. It took at least 2 more weeks. When she finally understood that she needed to take responsibility for this At the time she showed up, I was there to remove our lock and took pictures of the condition of her unit. Not only did she not pack items properly, she had books and papers all over the place. We go out of our way to give our tenants the best service possible. We have over 400 units at our site.
