It is so obvious that the person who gave a poor review about Coupe is not a native to Rockland. I would love to know what other studio she has found that is better, has professional dancers, well- known establishment for over 25 years and has a waiting list in Rockland county?! Please educate me?!

THE BEST DANCE STUDIO IN THE WORLD!!! How could anyone think negatively about this place? The teachers are excellent and it is a great place to learn how to dance. The friends you make there will last you a life time. And yes, it is a little outdated.....BUT i love it sooo much! I look forward to going there everyday, and couldn't think about leaving it.

I recently stumbled upon this website and read a review that stunned me. Having known many students and parents who have been a part of this performing arts school, I have never heard a negative thing. The teaching staff is of the highest professional quality and the school keeps up with the times regarding the classes they offer. All styles of dance, musical theater and acting are offered and Coupe produces versatile performers, many who have gone on to professions on Broadway, film and tv. Whether the student is dancing for fun, to keep in shape or as a serious career goal, this studio will be considerate of your purpose for being there.

I think people are really interesting. How could anyone give Coupe a bad review? There are other opportunities in Rockland, but for training in dance and musical theater, no other Studio does a better job of training versatile students than Coupe.

I agree with the last reviewer, that Coupe offers the best performing arts training anywhere in the northeast outside New York City.

My children attended multiple classes at Coupe for over 10 years. There is not a more professional studio outside NYC. Teachers have the well-being of each and every student in mind. The facility is a little dated, but is clean, warm and well-maintained for its age. If you read information about any of the alumni of Coupe Theatre Studio, you will learn that many students have become professional performers, choreographers and successful in other related fields such as physical therapy. The other review on this site is obviously from a parent whose child just did not wan to learn to dance.

This place needs a major renovation...it is falling apart. The studios smell real bad and are dirty, outdated, there is NO heat or ac and the lobby are is filthy. They should consider spending some of the money they are making. If you are considering enrolling your child.....DEFINATELY get a tour and ask to see the studio before spending any money there! It's all about money with this company and I would never recommend it to anyone. I had other mom's warn me, but I now regret not listening. Even the end of the year recital was ONLY about money.....it was ridiculious. I understand it is a business, but you need to put money into a place to make the student want to come back. My daughter went one year and she begged me to take her out because she could not stand the smell or the fact that it had no AC/Heat. Who wants to dance with two layers because it is freezing in the studio? Definatley shop around, there are plenty more choices in Rockland
